Menard Swila is married to Eness Mwapule and they have three children (Vaileth, Clement and Atukuzwe). He was born in Mbozi (on the west side of Mbeya) and is from the Ndali tribe. After studying the Bible, Menard was baptized in 2000 and came to the Chimala School of Preaching in 2001 to study for two years. Before becoming the administrator at Chimala Mission, he worked with several other missionaries at the mission and also enrolled and graduated from the Chimala Bible College after two years of study (2007). In 2008, Menard began working with Bill Stinson as the Estate Manager at Chimala Mission and worked faithfully in that position until he assumed the role of Administrator in 2017.
